I'm sure you guys have seen how much whp jps set up gained with sr16 cams... id bet the way to go is turbofreaks turbo grind. Basically a sr16 with a lot more lift.

I got a stock set of 2.0 cams sitting. If I don't like what I see with the n1 cams then I am going to stick the stocks ones back in. I think I am going take them with me when I get the car tuned.

charles told me that the 20v's were the way to go.

20V's are nice since they will have more bottom end grunt with the 2.0 high lobes. That is somthing I for one would be interested in trying out.

Well if I'm not mistaken the stock 2.0 ve cams are just as much lift if not more than the s4 cams I was running. I'm gonna stick with the stock ve cams on this motor and I don't see why they won't make the power I'm shooting for easily. Sure the 16 or n1s might make more power but I will save those for the sleeved motor with cp ve pistons in it. Again I'm gonna run supertech s&rs in there so revving out to 9500 should not present a problem with floating valves into the pistons.

I hope the supertechs can hold up to that rpm. The 2.0 cams love to float even on some spring/retainer setups and pop shims out. On the supertechs you should be fine.

I wanna see how the N1 cams do on my setup. Although my small t31 turbine is restrictive and won't show the gains that a larger turbo may, the divided turbine should help with flow. Reversion is nearly impossible with my setup. Even with the stock cams on the super-restrictive .78 divided housing had no reversion issues that I could notice.

The only thing that sorta worries me about the n1 cams is the power peak rpm. It may peak really late, or on my setup may do just fine? Who knows?

I really just want a drop in cam I can rev to 8500rpm without issues. I don't have S/R, and dont really care to get a set unless necessary. Without the standalone to manage the higher rpms it is pointless to try to rev really high. But those 20V cams look very interesting. I would love to try a set of those. Ramp angles are better for the 2.0 anyway.
