BOV Flanges - Stock Nissan BB Vs. 1G DSM
Hey guys, anyone know if the 1G DSM bov is a direct replacement for a bluebird or avenier bov? I bought a TMIC setup without the bov and i'd like to run a 1G crushed DSM bov. Let me know, thanks!

Should be a direct replacement dave....

I actually think the avenir is very similar if not the same... the blue bird is def different. Let me see if I can find mine tomorrow and see if I can get some comparison photo's.

I switched mine out last year.

I am also working on the assumption that it is a direct replacement. What is the difference between AV/BB? I'd like to see some photos too. Thanks

Difference between avenier and bluebird bypass valve?
From what I can remember, I think that the bluebird has a slightly larger diameter inlet (boost pressure side)... and the AV & DSM have a slightly smaller inlet. Only thing I can assume from that is a small difference in the boost level reached that can "push" the piston up under hard accel. The vac source nipple is in a slightly different position as well, I hope I can find them both to confirm that.

They are the same. I'll get you a pic of mine up close and the part no and everything when I get home.

There is the stock u12 bypass valve

Bad pics but; Here is a crushed DSM/Avenir Mitsu piece mounted; my vacuum nipple is bent down a little bit, they usually come straight outward.

sorry for the ****ty pics I'll get some better ones.
