Did some GTi-R manifold cleanup
The ports looked *really* small on my GTi-R manifold and didn't match my gasket. I decided to do some port matching and clean it up a little and that snowballed to over 5 hours of work on it. I was able to reach about 60% of the inside of the manifold and they came out pretty damn good for my first time doing anything like this. The pics don't do justice to how smooth it is. My turbine housing was extrude honed and I'd say this is approaching 75% as smooth as that.

Nice, I will be doing this on my BB mani before I throw it on the VE . Oh, sorry about Sunday I ran into some stuff I had to get done. Maybe we can meet up this Sunday?

Thanks guys. I used an air grinder with carbide bits and abrasive stone bits.

Tony, no problem man I ended up getting busy with some other stuff too. This Sunday should work fine. If all goes well I'll be in my SE-R too.

I did the same thing to mine when I replaced the turbo. one place that needed a lot of attention on mine was at the flange where the turbo mounts it kind of has that twin scroll setup one side was clearly smaller I ground the hell out of it
