in order for this to work well you need surface area and cross flow. Looks a lot like those fins you can add to your oil filter

I don't think it would make a big enough difference to justify the cost. It does though use the heat sink concept as computers do.

Thing about heat sinks is though, the better higher end ones are coupled with a fan too. Thus this leads me to believe that the gains are going to be so marginal it wont justify the cost.

Though it could be the next cool looking things to get that's impossible to clean out

Geezus I don't see how I could even remotely place that monstrosity into my intercooler piping system! Even if I could, there's nowhere I could effectively place it so that it is hit directly by airflow.

A gimmick, that's for sure. Hell I should have thought of that! Ricer kiddies will be picking this thing up in no time! and at only $39.99 for the 3" section, I could see them replacing their CAI with this!

Don't be hating! I already built a CAI out of them for the P11. Remember my comment about it being a pain to clean out?

Non-sense! You would either have a very wet engine bay or water into your charge piping
