Absolutely. I am running SR16VE cams in my T25 VET car and i think these will prove to be too aggressive. So i'm just going to upgrade the turbo. LOL

So yeah, DET will satisfy your goals, but lets be real, everyone upgrades. The VET is your best option i think.

Merry christmas first off, Both setups will run good, If you plan on running more hp later down the road I would just do a vvl.IF you do not plan or see in your sight building a motor but would like mid 3- low 400's then I would go with the DET.

Yah, keep in mind you're going to want to replace the rods at least on the VE if you decide to go for real power some day later.

I'm confused, here. I'm not sure I understand your reasoning in this post. Care to clarify your position?

The way I see is if later on he plans on shooting for big HP then he should go VE-T if the intentions are to go big boost later on with a built motor.

If he plans on a simple proven 300+ capable stock bottom end and call it a day then go DE-T.

The VE can make and hold decent power in stock form but, for the sake of peace of mind most people feel more comfortable with a stock DE bottom.

I for one would go VE-T. That is just me. A nice T-28 set up on a stock VE is a blast but, a bit more expensive to do.

Thanks Rob, I re-re-re-read his post and saw that he said "But, if you want mid 300's to low 400's..."

The whole building a motor part was what was throwing me off.
