Filled blocks is not for daily cars. Plus we run methonal, which doesn't heat the motor too much at idle. Remember, we made 1000 hp on a daily setup in our old S14. Filling the block isn't really needed till you go past that and plan to run 60 lbs of boost.

My SR is making 270RWkw, been told thats about the max the block will handle without issues. anyone else making more without sleeves?

No sure of the conversion to WHP but mines made 600+ with no sleeves

650+whp with no sleeves just fine. There are rwd guys that have made 800 on an unsleeved block. The stock SR sleeves if kept at 86mm are pretty thick. Not bad at all

That is a shitload of power for a stock block 2ltr, yeah this tuner said any more than the power I was putting out can be detrimental to the block? Ie cracks etc. This engine has stock rods and crank but almost everything else has had work, so wanted to know if there was any truth behind this, or maybe the tuner was covering his ass?? She's on 22 psi now, I'd be happy with 300rwkw
