A day of lapping sessions? Yeah right. I really have my doubts on that.

If you're using a heat exchanger, then sure, but I have no experience of heat exchangers used on the air to water setups I have seen. Maybe they just weren't designed right overall.

UPDATE:
so today after arriving from work i receive a box with 2 items in it.

the heat exchanger size is:
31.5"x9.5"x3.5"
inlet and outlet: 3/4

water intercooler : 12"x12"x4.5
inlet and oulet: 3"

i need the pump, fuel cell, and some heater hose to finish the kit.
if i expend my money right i should be getting the whole kit together for under 500 and not spend 1600 like other people

thats a big exchanger. at that point wouldnt you just want to run a air to air fmic and keep it simple ??

that would be my out look.

what kind of power goals and driving do you do that you feel the need for an water to air ?

its a little big but it should fit perfect where i want it. i got a 4" intercooler upfront right now and the pipes just seem to low for my taste and im afraid it might get a hole on the coupler down the road with the pipes that low.

im aiming for 600+whp and the car is going to be driving occasionlay on the weekends, most of the time at the track(1/4).
+ i got a 4 fog laying around my garage and with the front mount out of the picture i should have plenty of space to make it fit.

this should give u an idea of the space i got to play with

may i also add that the less pipes i have the less time the air takes to tranfer from the turbo to the enigne giving me a chance of less lag.
im trying to help my set up see less lag than what i have at the moment but it seems like im running out of room.
