exhaust size does ti matters?
i want to change my stock exhaust for one similar to this

the size of the exhaust tip 2.25¨and the inlet its 2.25 too, i wonder if this could affect the flow at hig rpms.

i´m runing a 2.1/2 downpipe and a 2.25 line at the final curves.

rubben the stock exhaust tip its very restrictive and i feel that my car needs a wider one, so the turbo could spin more freely

ur definitely choking the turbo if you're still on the stock tip. 2.5" at least. bigger is better.

It sounds to me like you just want to replace the muffler. That's not going to do much at all. It certainly won't hurt power, but it won't help too much. You need to make the rest of the exhaust bigger as well if you really want to see any improvement.

Looks like you have been practicing for the baja 1000. Admit it you just want to be loud its okay to say. I would keep the stock muffler to pull the sleeper look because your piping is what you really need to change.

^ x2 i agree, a muffler is only going to give you the sound asthetic, but no power gains, a 3'' piping diameter is going to yeild you the best power overall, more volume of air flowed through the exhaust is going to get you the gains, but just a muffler isnt going to see anything

I had the greddy 60mm catback on a lowport de-t t25 setup wiht 3inch dp and it seemed like it flowed decent enough to walk a 2001 camaro ss.
