yeah iginiton maps are going to vary depending on the compression of the engine like you said higher compression with lower iginton timing is acting the same as a det with higher iginiton map and lower compression

But that seemed to be the case only in at 57 TP to 69 TP. Thus cruising timing maps are the same. Thus this explains why my DET would be doing so-so on the highway hehe.

I was getting into the 11's and 10's at some points. I was also running 4 bar just because i didnt want to lean out too much. I usually ran 12psi, sometimes a 17psi spike with the t25. With the f-con+the det ecu i was running 1 bar for quite a while until i bought an emanage, and used that with my stock 93 ecu.

It wasnt even close to a decent tune, but it worked ok and i could limp around at 12 psi. gas milage wasnt good, but i really didnt care at that point i just wanted to drive the car a bit. I think my car has almost the longest record for sitting without being driven between my friends and i.

I am not saying go out do it yourself and beat the snot out of it. I am just saying in a situation where you just want to get around and have a bit of fun with your car you can do this for a while until you get the correct set up. Its like the tmic with no scoop, it doesnt work really well but its enough to get by for a while.
