There are 3 FWD DET MAFs from what I rememeber. A 240sx or S13-S15 DET MAFs will not wok.

GTIR MAF 54C00
W11 and Newer U13 53C01
Early U12 MAF 53J00


Somewhere along the line I think you did something wrong.

Nut - check grounds, reground your MAF, make sure it's wired correctly if you cut the MAF harness...



I hope he is not running all DET Sensors.

Well make sure he put in his cars correct guage temp sensor. After that all DE and DET sensors are the same.

Put a damn calum ECU in there with the correct matching MAF.

rob, im not saying it hasnt been done with success. im just saying i personally have never seen a single one run good. and trust me ive seen alot of b13's ran of det ecu's and everyone would ask me whats wrong.

id give them the same advice as i posted above.

will you be running your new set up on a det ecu and sensors ? lol.

thanks for the feed back to answer a few questions maf connector was mia so i ran my own wires to there proper location into the ecu along with other thing that were missing or cut but i ohmed out the wires multiple times they r fine im not sure if my u12 maf sensor is early enough? im running the stock u12 bbtmic det ecu. it just what scares me is i dont want to go through all the trouble of running a different ecu with the same result.. i mean the car runs perfectly without the maf hooked up purrs like a kitten except for the 2000rpm fuel cut out i just want to kno if that sounds like my only problem is the maf situation....and if anyones got an jwt or calum ecu they they want to nlet got just let me know
