The Turbo DE+T Build Continues
Well I have been building a turbo for my B14SER for several years now and am ready to kick it into high gear. I have not had any time to get the install completed but now I am motivated to finish it.

Here is what I have completed so far.

Installed Prothane motor mounts
Installed ACT 6-puck clutch
Drilled/Tapped block for oil drain
Installed 4-way splitter for oil feed (currently have dummy light and oil pressure gauge)
Fuel Pressure gauge

Parts I have bought over the last few years getting ready to be installed. I still have to blow the dust off these.

T28 Turbo, piping, oil lines, wastegate bought with the T28
370cc Injectors
Z32 MAF w/pigtail
JWT ECU, needs reprogram (bought this several years ago, prolly would of went with a CALUM set up if I did not had this already)
Boost gauge
255lph Walboro fuel pump
FMIC from Ebay
3" flex downpipe

Things I still need are....
Nismo FPR
The JWT reprogram
I am hoping I can use the lowport fuel rail w/the 370's?

I am still a newbie to the turbo world but learning as I go. If I am leaving anything off, please let me know. I think I have most stuff set to complete the install.

My next step will be to do the FPR, Injectors, Fuel Pump and the MAF to get installed and run and test with that set up. Then the Turbo, manifold, downpipe and all intercooler piping installed and I should be ready to rock.

I will post pictures as I finish the build. This is going into a 96 lowport 200SER. I will run it till the engine gives up. It has 110k miles on it now.

Here is what I am starting with.

Well I got everything out of the boxes and noticed that one of my 370's is missing a clip, if that is a clip? I am assuming I need to replace this injector or can it still be used?

Here is what I have got done so far. Intake plenum is off, old CAI is off, WD40 soaking on the header bolts. I am ready to remove the fuel rail but still need a NISMO fpr. I will start on installing the Walboro fuel pump by Friday.

That injector is fine like that.

Well are my updated pics of the Walbro installed and the 370's in the rail w/no frp. I am going to get the NISMO afpr as I am planning to run at 4bar but I have left the stock fpr in there for now. I am going to start and get the Z32 MAF installed and start taking down the OBX headers that are in there now and the 2 1/4in. crush bend that I had done from a muffler shop about 5 years ago. In it's place will be a 3" downpipe to a 3" manderel bend...not sure of the muffler I am going with but I am thinking the Magnaflow.

If I have a JWT ECU right now that is programmed for the POP Upgrade, SER MT Turbo, 50# MSD, 4 bar and Z32 MAF... I am looking to run the same program but instead of the 50# MSD, running the 370cc injectors, would this ECU still work?

I am cheap and trying to avoid spending a hundo on a reprogram if possible.

I believe jwt uses a chip. I'm not sure, but I think calum does something similar on his non real time ecus, he has write ups on how to install them and everything. You could take your ecu apart and see. You might be able to get the burner and then you'd be able to burn your own programs.

Oh on the injectors, I just removed all of that plastic crap.

For the time being, Do you think I can run the current ECU w/the 50# MSD injector set up with my 370's? I thought the 50# MSDs were lower than 370cc's?

Took a couple week break and got back on the car today.

Took the old headers off and put on the manifold and turbo. Snapped part my AC bracket where the line connects to the compressor and let out all my R134A. Put that on the list of things to do. I still need to remove the rest of the exhaust and connect all the lines from the turbo to the vacuum, oil feed, oil return. I will begin to remove my bumper cover and support to get the FMIC and piping plummed next. Here are some pics.

no the car will run very lean. the injectors do not match.

50lb=525cc so the 50lbs are bigger. they are even larger at 4 bar.
