So would you agree that I should upgrade my downpipe from a 2.5 to a 3 inch? I just don'e want to spend the money and get little to no results. I know its not going to be a huge difference but with s4 and a small turbo that creates alot of back presure it makes sense to go bigger.

Ben, you got any pictures of your j-pipe to show use the difference.

I defiantly would go 3"

Yes, upgrade from your 2.5" downpipe to a 3" downpipe (if you can afford it). You'll see decent gains.

I never took pictures of the inside of the stock j-pipe. I assume everyone knows what that looks like, yes? You mean did I take pics of the downpipe I made? Yes, I have plenty. I plan on getting around to uploading some tonight. I'll see what I can do.

Ben, wanna make me one of those? that's sweet. how's it do on the street? Any clearance issues in your opinion? It's tough to see how close it comes to the oil pan.

Dr. Fowler, I didn't see this post until now.

It works extremely well on the street. No clearance issues with the oil pans, the cross member or speed bumps and such. It's a really great downpipe and I'm extremely happy with it's fitment and performance. It can get better though, and I have a redesign in mind.

You have a pm. Dan and I plan on making more, just don't want to announce it until the jig is finished.

Louie, do it for sure. You will notice a difference I promise. Dont get a cheap pipe though, my VRS has scraped before but not too bad. I love what Ben did, I hate that tiny o2 housing too. I am just waiting until I can weld my wastegate flapper shut and run an external so I dont have to worry about recirculating the WG dump.

But even if you do just get a 3" that bolts to the o2 housing, you will notice a nice difference, let those S4s breathe!
