this is what its doing. when i turn it on it goes to about 2000rpms. then it slowly goes down to 1000 and then stumbles from 1000 to 750 and then it wants to shut off. its the same pattern everytime i put it in gear. go to 2000 then in about 5 seconds or so it goes to 1000 and stumble. when its cold it will shut off (at the point of stumbling)but when its warm the stumble will continue like it has a big cam and not shut off

^Air regulator/cold air start valve^

Just pinch the tubes going to the thing and watch the problem go away and come back. That is how you test it if you don't believe me

so how can i fix that? because i was using the jdm one and then i switched to the usdm one which i knew worked and its still doing the samething

I would test it by pinching the hose to make sure, but that is what generally causes the crazy revving.

Jen has a calum basic ECU. Chances are that he doesn't have the cold start fix.

Ahh okay, I don't have a clue about calum's stuff :o

Try unplugging the sensor then for the time being. If the issue is the ECU then there will only be some stalling and weirdness for cold start. The valve pretty much works on it's own after the bi-metal valve thing in the air reg warms up.

well we got it to idle at about 12 to 1300 hundred rpms and that was the best we could do without it stumbling and dying. now this is on a warm engine. we also got to time it at 15 degress....now i have to see how it acts on a cold idle start.. will update tomorrow..

update. this idle just wont stay in one place! as soon as i turned the car off close the shop and started the car the idle went back to the 1000 to 700 stumble. i just dont get it. scotty told me to take da tps off and drive and to my suprise it drives normal. wtf. . . i give up. packing my bags and going to up north to tune da stupid car
