Great way to break in a new motor

Sounds good. I wouldn't have waited 500mi. though. 4-5 heat cycles to ensure the rings seat, then all out balls of fury

If something doesn't break, then it's good to go

Breaking in a new motor at full throttle with a rich fuel mixture can't be to good.

lol yeah i put around 400 miles on it and several heat cycles, everyone has their own methods of breaking it in, I did a compression test with the thin oil in there before i switched it and it was 150psi across the board, Not bad for the 8.5:1 pistons but with the 1.5mm headgasket. So compression is more on the range of probably 8.2-3:1

But yeah for 14 psi this thing runs soo hard, haha

There are those who subscribe to the heard break in shool of thought. Generally it should be done on the track or dyno. They say you break it in the way you want to drive it and the ring seal ends up a lot better.

it was a bit but if your talking about it jumping up top that was the tires still trying to spin up top, if i had my other set of tires on there it would have just kept bouncing the rev limiter all the way through 4th, the tires i was using are in great shape and they are pretty sticky especially after a couple runs, Cut my very first run i did that i didnt get on video i just kept bouncing the limiter in 4th gear. These tires were the only thing that saved me, haha
