I have never had a problem racing or daily driving my nx.

I was running a stock nx radiator,1 bottle of water wetter,50/50 coolant/water, a nismo thermostat, i also removed the ac condensor, and 2 derale s blade slim fans which i had hard wired on a switch. I ran for a while with the top mount interheater with no problems then went water to air.

The new set up is a koyo radiator, nismo t stat, 2 slim fans, i will be using the same coolant/water wetter/water mix, and i have a fmic now. I may have to throw my 50.00 stock de back in if i cant come up with some funds for the engine build lol.

I have never had a problem with the nismo thermostat, but i always let my cars idle for a few minutes before i drive them. I dont drive it in winter though i drive it into fall when it gets pretty cold at night.

Just get a cheap nx rad. and throw in some water wetter. Also you can put in distilled water to help a bit and not run so much coolant. Don't worry though it should be fine.

The only thing that sucks about the nismo thermostat is that it takes a while for the heat to work when its cold.
