yup, one intank and one inline will do fine, also throw the stock power wire in the garbage and run some 8 ga wire. My friend has been running 2 walbros in this config. in his eclipse with no problems @45-50psi making 800+awhp. Stock lines will work as well. But if you have money burning a hole in your pocket get a sumped fuel cell and run 2 or 3 pumps with all new braided lines to the engine bay.

just my .02

Yeah you will be fine with that set up for a while.

I will look into the Bosch pumps, in sequence.

Thanks for the diagram. I see the return valve, where the two lines converge, before the pump.

Great place for a redundant fuel switch/ valve, in case of signal of a roll-over/shut-off solenoid.

If you plan on doing any sort of road racing or daily driving I would stay away from the Aeromotive stuff and rock the Bosch 044 or Walbro or any combination there of. Aeromotive pumps tend to overheat from what I've heard and are really only reliable in a dedicated drag car.

When the Walbro wasn't enough on Dan's BMW we went with a Bosch 044. When that wasn't enough, the plan was for a dual setup.

Also you might look into a "surge tank" configuration possibly filled with the Walbro and then fed to the rail with a Bosch.

If you run the two walboros you will be fine. I know many guys back home that run one inline and one in the tank. One of them being a 1,000+ whp Supra.

i think bosch even makes an in tank fuel pump if you dont want to run the external inline. either way, the bosch pumps are much quieter than the A1000.

How do you run say twin in tank pumps? I never understood how that would work logistically with the cradles and what have you that are in the tanks.

Also, how exactly does an external pump work? You'd have to have it gravity fed or pumped out of a factory type tank. It can't suck it out of there, can it?

I would guess that is why external pumps tend to mounted low with sumps , I am going to look at the bosch pump also...

Sure it can. Why not?
When you're low on fuel the in-tank fuel pump has to draw the fuel up against gravity anyway.
