And I would go with the $3k budget number... It always cost more than you think or want to admit afterwords.

I will be going the tiger japan route as they have cheaper prices. I guess ill go with the higher budget for more room to play.
I am located in Pawtucket (the bucket) Rhode Island (snow bl*ws right now)

Well the clockign issue is an easy fix, ill be getting the bluebird, all in all that is what i have heard will fit my car the best, and i can boost it to 9 lbs and still be maing the same hp as the w11 right?
I can get my exhaust done handmade by a local shop for a decent price and i found this page int he tubo section of some greta places to geta ll of your turbo accessories ie. intercollers, piping, clamps, couplers, guages and fuel pumps.

And as far as ecus go, can i just use my DE ecu and if i can what do iahev to do to make it work with my DE sensors, Flashing?
* Oh yeah and vadims build i have re-read that thing 3 time today befroe i made htis thread Kudos, Vadim BTW

And what is the need for the dogbone mount , deos the DE one not fit?

How about you go the Andreas Miko route? You can guarantee his motors will be better than a Tiger motor, because he looked at it firsthand. Not knocking Tiger, but I personally would trust Andre a hell of a lot more than some stranger at Tiger that "checked" the motor.

^You have a great point but im tight for money and i know i should not be going a cheap route. I guess im going to wait on the turbo setup, for now that is. Ia m going to fix my car and get it ready for the spring, I will keep saving and buy a bluebird from Miko if my budget allows (which I hope), while driving the DE I'll save up my bones and do it the right way.
Thanks for all of the help, i would have been crucified ont he other site by chris by now, lol thanks for not doing that. All of your information is greatly appreciated and is welcome at any time

Well it may or may not be the motor, tbh. Tiger's been really hit and miss, lately. They used to provide very high quality Honda motors, but I don't even know if they do or not, anymore.

The Honda shops back home all go thru a guy they have contact with in CA. His motors come SUPER friggin clean. Hell, one of them was so clean that the VIN number was BLANK! (Super secret Jun pre-production motor, can't say who owns it but he's in El Paso )

I will have to say that you shouldn't expect too much support from Tiger, it is really a hit or miss deal. I wasn't quiet satisfied the way my engine looked under the VC, what condition the Oil pan and fuel rail was. I was also missing the turbo outlet and BOV. But I did get a W11, so that kinda made it up for the other things.

Thanks for the comments, hopefully the pics will help you with the engine swap

As for the dogbone mount, if you get an Avenir the turbo wont let the stock dogbone mount go through. I'm not sure if this is the case with the turbo Clocked up (bluebird). If you get an Avenir from Miko, he might also have one of the dog bone mounts.

I'll figure out a way to deal with the dogbone mount. I kno someone who does a great job with intercooler piping so i might be in luck if he can weld up a bend instend of having a piece, well, bent lol.

My mind is made up and MIko by the summer you will have yet another customer waiting for a bluebird, that is what im getting i have mad eup my mind (just seems alot easier to deal with).
Miko if you are reading this what do your motors come with? i would like a list so I know what else i need to buy so there are no surprises when i get the motor this summer, Thanks

I have one W11 right now.

SR20DET motor
Ballbearing turbo
370cc injs
BOV with pipe
MAF to turbo intake pipe
turbo outlet pipe
PS pump

I can get you a new 3 inch down pipe from J pipe to cat for $275.
