ive always started the plug gaps at .28 it seems to be the best gap for turbo motors.

i would definitly check out the turbo like the others said, eating a plug can do dome major damage, score the pistons, score piston walls, ruin compression, ect i would do a compression test in that cylinder to make sure

Sweet, that was the first response by myself. That's why this is a going to be great forum. I would be a little concerned about why that cylinder was so hot.Do you think it was a bad plug or ran so hot it caused it to break off?

I think its because it was an iridium plug

You should also figure out where your a/f ratio is. Spark plug electrodes do not just break off for no reason. It sounds like you were running lean and/or experiencing some detonation.

yeah i might have been running lean at higher speeds, i will definitely check that out

my friend says he thinks it was a bad plug from the way it broke off, but i'm not personally sure, it could be that or it could of gotten too hot, i think it got too hot maybe
