For all the time and money put into this car it was a huge disappointment. The motor was a 2.2L and all they could do was low 10sec passes.

This car was probably the lightest and best looking SER but they could never get it to perform like it should which was disappoinnting coming from a company like AEBS.

to think its best pass was only a 10.3 but again that was a long while ago as well. I hope to run those times at least when my 2.0 L setup is done in my drag car. My car is all stripped out except the dash and door panels, thats it, everything that doesnt need to be there is gone, Including Lexan quarters and rear window. Im hoping the car with the turbo setup will be around the 1950-2000 lb range without me in it. Fully streetable with 375-400whp on pump gas and around 475-500whp on c16 race fuel. With that much power as long as i can put it to the ground it should run easily low low 10's. But again with that much power its always a traction problem. And i dont think the small 22X8X15 slicks i have is gonna do much but it will be a start. If not then ill just get some bigger ones. haha. Cuz im thinking with these its gonna be a high 10 to low low 11 but with a 130+mph trap speed easily. Haha probably spinning through 4th

It was not just me who put the car together, Pacific Performance built the car. It was a 2 man team build.

The only thing I did to the cars was build the motor. The motor was going to be put into my Blue SER. It ended up in the Drag car because Steven at Pacific damaged his motor while testing which was no fault of his as the sleeved dropped, to that point the fastest the car had gone was 10.3. With my motor the car eventually ran 9.4.

The motor was 8 to 1 compression 89mm pistons, Sleeved block, Crower rods, 32 pound knifedged crank, Ported head, Roller Rocker lifters, 98 rocker arms, grooved shims on evry rocker, JWT springs and retainers, S4 cams, stock intake manifold, stock TB, turbo manidold, Greddy T77. I did the alternator in the back thing which was the first time I ever built that for a car. I put the motor in the car. That was it for me.

Steven at Pacific performance tuned the car and raced the car. It was not his car but was built for a customer who lived in Antigua, so when he damaged his motor he asked for mine because he only had 2 weeks before the customer came to pick up the car. Which was right after it made the 9.98 sec pass at a Moroso event.

This was where my cross roads between turbo and NA happened. I feel if I had not given up my motor I would have been a turbo guy. Like I said I gave him the motor to help him out as he awas in a tight position.

Hey Andreas I have a video of the same car you are talking about on a cd a friend of mine made for me when he went to visit antigua on vacation. That thing looked pretty fast. If i knew how to chop and edit DVD's I would post it but I dont know how to do that type of stuff.

That's right,I completely forgot about Pacific's involvement with that car....The one thing I do remember was how that car got no love from the Honda biased mags...3 different mags covered the event and not even a pic of that car. Bummed me out for sure. I remember the first run in that car when it did an ollie off the line and landed sideways then was floored again and still ran a mid 10...I put a turbo on my car 3 months later...

Justsentra, the reason the oil came out was oil filter was not on tight. The guys from AEBS gave us a filter and 2 quarts oil.

The mags showed no love.

Back in 1997-1998 when my blue SER was running 11.8-12.0 at 113-115 MPH on NOS at the events the mags would not even take a pic they would just walk by.

What use to get me so hot was they would take pics of the Hondas and post them in the mags even when they ran slower times at the events.

because there is very few mags that care for anything but hondas. Compare how many hondas have been in mags compared to nissans. Any nissan for that matter. Its way outweighed. I think it will always be this way. No love for us but thats what sets us apart. Its also what hurts us as far as performance parts are concerned.

Haha..No.."Ollie" like in skateboarding..The run where it jumped in the air about a foot right off the line ,landed sideways and still ran a 10 sec timeslip..

It's ok as far as the mags go..I always thought that it was funny to see all the Honda fan boys with their b18 swapped hatches because the mags told them to "DO IT!!" .At the races they would make fun of myself and my other 2 buddies that had SERs. I remember this dude with a full Type R conversion in a hatch wanted to run me at MMP..It was my first night on drag radials so I was a bit nervous because I didn't want to lose to him after all his **** talking. Unluckily for him I dead hooked and turned the fastest time that I had ever run on motor (a 13.98 with bolt ons and cams ). He was not very happy and his friends accused me of spraying.I let them go through my car with a freakin' flashlight and after that none of them wanted to talk to me..By the way Dre,thanks for that
