well I was on the phone with PTE this morning I found out they will retrofit my gt35r with a billet 62 wheel , for around 450.00 .....that anit bad...I wonder if they can do it to other GT model turbos???

Well... with all this stuff I've been checking up on. I wonder how well a GT3076r compressor would do with a larger turbine wheel from a 35r... Since the 76mm compressor can flow good enough for 500+whp, but the larger 35r turbine wheel flows better, esp at higher pressure ratios.

But noone touches the turbines, they all just make the compressor bigger on these turbos. Going in the wrong direction if you ask me.. the turbine is already pretty small.

The 76mm compressor with a 68mm 84 trim turbine looks like it would be a winner...

The 6262 looks to have a better flowing turbine, which means better VE. Plus the spool doesn't seem to take that much of a hit.
