I believe, dont quote me but it was Miko that said the Lowport O2 didn't improve flow over stock as well as it did for the high port and there for not worth the money as much as the HP o2 IM

I don't have time to link to the other site (damn slow internet at my room), but I'm almost 99% positive, that someone posted head flow characteristics from both the highport and lowport head, and the lowport head flowed more volume than that of the highport head.

Anyone have time to go research it?

but if you already have camshafts, and every other mod known to man. i cant really see how the o2 manifold would hurt, it would definitly be betterthan stock and you would see some kind of gain. maybe not huge but a gain

not sure if that thread is the one you are talking about or not, there is SO MANY THREADS on that site covering hp vs lp

altho i find it hard to come to a conclusion thats 100% without actually flow bench test noth heads. otherwise its just say so.

this seems like definitive answer considering it isnt giving an opinion but numbers of cfm flow at certain points of lift, not only that but its comparing BOTH highport and lowport heads... dont know how credable their expierence or knowledge is but it does seem they flowbenched the heads?

^^^ this too is good reading on lift,duration\camshafts and stuff (which kinda has to do with the cfm flow)

from reading the flow bench readings and the persons who flow bench the heads, it seems like they are contridicting other remarks that having a aftermarket head wont gain as much as the high port, actually saying that you will be better off with a intake manifold, so its really up to you

it might just be me but doesn't that manifold look very simple to make?? you could cut the oem manifold off at the runners and weld them to the new runners. and they could be ported to match the manifold.

You will gain beneifts! Volume and all, te issue is you don't get as much benefit because the lowport head blows donkey.
