Don't have the complete mod list but he has the freddy intake manifold, stock exhaust manifold, 2871r 64 a/r, different o2 housing, apexi gt spec exhaust with the resonator replaced with a straight section of 3" (the 3" to 3.75" one), greddy something or other FMIC, BC stage 2 cams, springs and retainers, plus a bunch more. I think his tune is an Enthalpy tune too.

PM Me if you want more details

That tq hurts. Those BC cams seem to be more trouble than what they're worth. I'd also like to stick with the stock intake to have the midrange surge so I can keep my clutch alive.

Do you recall who or where I can find it?

SAFC = Tunes in how much detonation you want.

I realize garret spent lots of money in r&d for the t2's and for atp just to come out with a generic t3 housing may be a mistake.

Some background: I use my car for mostly drift, redtop sr, solid lifters, 9:1 pistons, aem ems, stock intake mani, and custom tubular t3 topmount. I got the turbo for a great price and I'd like to make 3071 numbers if at all possible.

Last year I made 290rwhp and 280rwtq at 17psi on a VF30 with mild antilag.

I'm shooting for 350rwhp and 310tq with stock mani, cams undecided, sub 15psi for next year with lots of over rev. 8200rpm maybe.....

Let me know what you guys think would be the best bet for housing and cams. (I tried to search this forum the last 3 days and something's up with it).

Yup, I did read that. Thanks though.

Don't get me wrong guys, I've driven t25 @18psi, gt28 with 300hp, and both .64 and .86 t2 housed 2871 sr's before. I guess what I wanted to hear is "I tried it and it sucks/awesome - here's the graph"

I'll keep looking around..... or I'll just do it and let you guys know what I come up with!

Topmount .63 t3 2.5" vband 2871 here we go!

Talk with Erick212. He's a FIRM believer in the 2871R series. I'm almost positive he's personally seen at least one or two 2781's with the T3 housing.

Love the engine bay shot, btw. VERY clean!

Haha, right!?

Should be a top end slut with response. 272's and big turbine. At least that's what I'm shooting for.
