Haha no need to pm it, VE and DET cost about the same amount with all the parts. DET can gain more WHP by cranking up the boost, with VE you need to get N1 cams or 16VE cams, thats $500 for not that big of a gain.

Plus DET has much more torque, I love torque

iv also heard the bad things about revving up 2 fast and traction issues, and iv also read that solid mounts and cams make the car viberate like hell. so far my mounts and cams are great, no complaints. so ill also be DE-T with a fidanza and experience it my self

I've been in a car with solid mounts, and it vibrated quiet a bit. When the owner of the car got into my car, he couldn't tell if my car was running or not

IMO, you don't need the flywheel or UR pullies, but they're fine to have if you already have them.

I think personally, that the SR motor revs pretty quickly as it is, with a stock DET flywheel. I don't want to rev to the moon, when the turbo does an excellent job already.

Thats basically my idea . See I complain at my gas mileage right now because I get 22 MPG on one slow car. If I can get 20 MPG on a fast car, thats a completely different story

But I've heard plenty about getting good MPG's with a snail

That is exactly my idea, just installing an AEM CAI made my motor rev up faster! I am now wishing I didn't sell my SR16VE flywheel

I like my 16ve flywheel. I got 23/28 mpg with my T-28.

If you see an Underdrive crank and Waterpump pulley for sale on here snatch them up quick. Buying them brand new is retarted and getting them used is hard because you cant find them. But they pop up every once in a while. I got my Blue set from Chriscar about 3 weeks ago. Still havent put them on yet. But im sure ill love them.

There are also other ways to balance out the weight. You can get a lighter clutch disc like a puck. Little things here and there you can do.

IM gonna put my pullies on Wednesday so Ill post up my review of the XTD, Two pulley set, and a six puck unsprung. So far I love my setup without the pulleys. It could rev a tad faster before 4k and the pulleys should take care of that. Its still hard to keep from touching 8k in first when I hit it though since the revs go up so fast. But compromise is the name of the game!

I'm truly shocked that Chriscar's set lasted on the market for so long for $150!!!

I already have a set, apparently the its the much desired black stock looking ones

Oh yeah buying them new is a waste!

I used to have a set in that color. How much are they new? I got mine for $215 shipped back in 2001.
