I just spot welded little dimples on my pipes to keep them from coming apart. The dimples keep the coupler from slipping off. and best part was it was free. No issues whatsoever. ever. holds 25psi without issue.

I hit 32lbs and didn't have a coupler blow with standard T-bolts and 4 layer silicone. They are more of a flashy thing if you ask me, but in a race car or drag car pushing the limits, it is worth the extra safety I think to put those on.

its more of a pressure vs area thing. 30 psi in a 2" ic pipe doest have as much pulling strenth as 30 psi a 4" pipe. also in a car that might have a more violent boost spoolup than others

Damn, one of my clamps just blew off today as i was getting home. I must have used like 1/2 gallon of gas stumbling home
