Thread: nitrous in ve

I have a spare VE manifold that I will be tapping for dp, but I think s long as I stay at a 75 shot I will have no issues whatsoever, never did and never plan too. All my other cars ran well and so will this badoy......only better :LOL:

Oh and one more thing I ALWAYS use 110 when I spray at the track, so that usually helps alot....

yea i dont want to man but might have to go a nitrous plate or drill and tap route,its the only real way to spray bigger than 75 shots while being safer(equal distribution)......

i know that guy you're talking about. I'm pretty sure the reason he hasn't pm'd u back is cuz he's probably real busy working at the shop. Anyway if you or anybody else are seriously interested in the nitrous plates let me know. I can stop by the shop sometime during the week and ask him about it.Oh and im also gonna be spraying my VE with a 75 wet shot

well i did get a pm back about the price and him saying he had like 2 left but he never pmed me back a paypal address or anything...thats what i really need...oh also a 75 shot on the ve is awesome man..talk spinning thru 3rd like its turboed

i hope so it will be my first time spraying. You guys should post a video of ur ve's with spray so i can get an idea of what to expect

I will be putting my nitrous'ed VE on hold at the moment, so I can achieve the best possibile time n/a. This means that all my money needs to be spent on all n/a stuff before I purchase the kit.

you can still go ahead with nitrous,hook it all up and use when needed.thats the advantage nitrous over turbo.........so what you gonna go with n1 cams now,hell if so sell me your sr16ve cams...

well if you know the guy can you get in touch with him and tell him to check his pm's cause qwkse-r is really interested in the nitrous plate.

i believe anyone with a ve can be in the low 12's with a 75 shot and slicks....hell from what i remember allmotorsentra from the old forum was doing 11.8's with a 100 shot.. and that was on a de with higher compression pistons(similar to ve compression i believe)....hel the ve has a way better head for nitrous,so 11's shouldn't be a problem for a ve doing 100 shot on slicks

im also gonna go for best performance all motor but im gonna have my nitrous hooked up just in case.Im going for 200+whp all motor.
I already got baseline numbers for my ve i made 175whp and 148tq untuned thats just with i/h/e. Now what i already bought thats going on the car next are N1 cams,BC springs,greddy cam gears,calum ecu,ASP budget header(whenever i get it)and 3" madrel bend exhaust.I just bought a used ZEX 55-75 shot wet nitrous kit with a bottle warmer for $265 i couldn't let that offer go by.

i'll see if i can stop by 2morrow morning i have to go pick up my ecu from him anyway.
i did get to see the nitrous plate on his old VE se-r and it was nice. I'll tell him to check his PM's tho.
