Thread: Cheap local DE central FL

I am posting for a local friend with no internet.
The car is old and beatup (93)and he is really broke.His wife is disabled and he takes care of her and works fulltime too.
If I had a spare DE,I would give it to him because this 93 SER is his only car .I chased him down oneday,and since have been helping him get the car back in shape over the last couple years
Looking for a replacement DE to swap in his car.
Its a highport,so thats preferred for ease of installation for him.

Please PM if you have any options,I have a truck and can pick it up.

My DE in my 99 SE-L is for sale for $75.00 but we're too far away from each other as usual

If come across one I'll let you know. Agent nude had his motor in his g20 over heat and needs a head gasket, maybe you can put a motor together for the guy.

Yup. Blew a head gasket in my p11. Will not be rebuilding the engine. You can have it if you come to pick it up.

Jay make sure the rockers are not broken or off

I am trying not to have to build a motor.I have enough projects of my own.Just trying to help the guy out.He has really brought the car back from crap now that he knows what he has,which warms my heart.
I do have enough stuff readily available to put together a decent engine,but no time or resources to do it. Justin ,maybe you could help me put it all together and make a few bucks at the same time? I will PM you.

I will have him pull the VC and look at that. He said he lost an injector,and drove on 3 cyls and was puffing white smoke. He seems to think he burned a ring or something. I think he may have blew the headgasket. He does not have cross contamination in coolant or oil..

Like I said,I have enough projects of my own. I am trying not to work on it myself.lol. He is somewhat mechanically inclined and does the work himself(and wants to) but has no access to parts like we are all blessed with on this forum.
I am basically trying to help him find decent parts cheap,since he is a good person and wants to keep the classic on the road as long as possible.
Poor guy got raped for 60 bucks at a local yard for the last injector he had to buy.
He may be interested in your buddies DE thats getting pulled.keep me posted

Good luck I posted a thread last month and didn't come up with anything. I ended up getting a lowport which I'm going thru the headache of getting it to all work.
