i personally dont think power goes away i think speed does. ur the football guy im just a spectator lol.

i have nothing against ronnie but a hardcore ricky fan lol.

^It does not work that way at all in football lol. I can promise you that. Speed = power. The faster you run into someone, the hard the impact. If you take a month off, it feels like 4 months to the body. Ricky will/can run over a defender, but to do that repeatedly and make that 'his' game style at the age 34 would not be smart.

Look at Marion Barber and what all those hits he use to deliver has done to him. He can barely stay healthy and just turned 28 this summer. I'm a ricky fan as well and I followed him at Texas.

Sproles to NO is intriguing. I've always thought Sproles was a very very good back who will occasionally (and usually at just the right time) put up some banannas numbers.

Sproles is the man. That guy is one foot step away from a touchdown 'every' time he touches the ball. 11.8 million for Bush for one year, or 14 million for 4 years for Sproles? No brainer.

i do understand what ur saying but miami hasnt played ricky enough for me to see that. i talk to everyone about miami and ricky. they all tell me that they dont understand y they dont play ricky more.

i say start him the first 3 games and that should be a baseline on how is body is taking it.

lets put it this way. he shared the field with ronnie. his yard per carry was 3.7 yard. ricky's was 4.2. he rushed for 1121 yard and played better with less time on the field then his younger counter part. ricky has had alot of time for his body to recover from the rough days of the past.

looking at him play last year i didnt see him lose a step. lost weight and was faster then before coming in to the season in great health. i know everyone in miami is asking y dont they give him more minutes. atleast everyone i talk to from miami says so.

as for barber i can tell u him and ricky r to different monsters. ricky is a bigger and stronger back and ricky does yoga

sproles is the man, lfast as hell and looks like a rocket when he looks up at the in-zone.

Looks like the Jets are shoring up their defense too. I know Miami fans love Ricky but I don't think it pans out if they start him.

I've heard talks about Ricky going there. Would sucks for Miami if he left. I know alot of people that don't want him to leave. I'm really disappointed in the Miami front office. They have being acting really weird on alot of issues. They bring bill into the picture to try to fix things and hoestly I feel that he made things worse. Yes we got better with him here but I think the coach is what made it work not him.

Then we trade Ronnie for Reggie. I see alot of hole in his game. He doesn't run up the middle. It looks like he doesn't like to get hit. Reggie is a good running back but. Thing Ronnie is better. Instead of trading him for a pick to get a qb we keep Chad Henne?!? I see another losing season this year. I have faith for Pennington but he's not playing this year but no faith what so ever in Henne

I'm wondering why r they gonna have as a power runner.

As it stands right now, Daniel Thomas (2nd round draftee) will be getting the majority of the carries. Now, if the Fins get Orton, then you got yourself a decent offense.

Glad to see Sproles go to the Saints. Knowing Pierre Thomas is injury-riddled, Sproles, when given the opportunity, will thrive as a starter. Too bad he had to take a backseat to LT and Ryan Mathews in San Diego. A dangerous special teams player too. Just look at Michael Turner, being LT back up for years.

Asante Samuels will be available soon after the Eagles signed Nnandi Asomugha and getting Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie in the Kolb trade.

I'm a Ricky fan, but you must not 'know' barber at all lol. For like 4 seasons straight, it took 2 or 3 guys to take him down. He almost 'never' went down on first contact. The first man there got punished! If I wasn't on my phone I would post vids. Go check him out on YoutTube. Ricky faster? Oh yeah, football run a defender over stronger? No way!

Yep, Barber used to be a beast back in the day. It will be interesting to see what happens with Ricky though.
