Thread: South Florida PBIR MEET(DYNO/Track)

May 1 2010 is open.But just to rent the track is crazy $$$$$$$.

There's a NSCRA event there this weekend. Hope to see some more Nissan's there!

I am in for Saturday or Sunday. Push it back to end of May though.

Ok i just spoke to my friend at NSCRA and he said it wouldn't be a problem. His only concern is if the turnout is going to be enough to cover the track rental. He said the more people we have the better. I don't know if us Nissan guys are ready for this. I'm in no matter what, but some guy's don't want to drive to far others don't want to spend to much so idk. We can't just do it on this forum. We would have to include all of the Nissan forums so we would have a wide variety. He said they would bring out the dyno and we can have like a dyno day also. Once the track rental is taken care of any extra goes towards prizes and so forth. He suggested maybe having a Nissan vs. Honda kinda thing but i like the idea of all Nissans, maybe a nissan/infiniti meet would sound better and bring alot more people. If you guys can get the word out, it can definitely happen but everyone would have to step up. It would definitely be better than Markem park. First we need feedback from all of the Nissan forums before we get NSCRA involved. If they see a big interest they will make it happen. It doesn't have to happen right away but a couple months down the road would give everyone a chance to get ready for it.

i down to pay whatever i do not care. renting out the track for this event is not needed. this should just be a hang out, on a saturday or sunday on pbir... were you have the option to run your car if you and if not just be able to chill and hang out wtih some sentra guys. if all goes well and we have a good turn out THEN we go all out and rent out the track and dyno and all the other good stuff mentioned.
