So your saying that its more like 10-15... i was kind of suprised when VEX630 said 29 hp.. i knew that when you put on S3 or S4 you do feel a difference but 29 hp that looked to good to be true... so im looking more like 150-160 hp with the headers, cams, exhaust, and pullies??

160 is a more realistic number with those supporting mods.

serban... I had the stock 98 cams before I dynoed with the s4 cams. Dynoed 29 more whp with the s4 cams. Same reason why I can't spray 100 dry shot right now without getting bigger injectors. Runs out of fuel at 6K RPMs. When I had the stock cams I was spraying 100 shot damn near daily.

the 98-99 cams are KNOWN to be the lowest output (whp wise) cams out there. If you want I can give you my stock 98 cams and you can compare back to back dyno runs.

Dyno was 130.4 whp and 124 wtq with stock cams at 10* timing
and 160whp and 132 (or 134 on a second run) wtq with s4 cams at 10* timing

Before anyone says it. NO there were NO other mods done to the car besides the S4 cams since the stock cam dyno.

VE on spray is the plan. Going to try and squeeze 300whp out of a DE on spray first then Ill swap in the VE and spray that sucker. I want to work out all the kinks out of a direct port on a DE so I dont blow up the VE when I spray it.

Right now Im spanking mildly modified VEs (I/H/E 16VE cams) easily on my 75 shot. Oh and stock Evo Xs.
