Thread: my b14 SE-R that i Bought for $380 Dollars

A buddy of Mine 200sx_se saw this on Criags list for $600 with a Front End Hit, it also had the LT Quarter Panel Damage, the Guy thought it was a total loss bad Title and i was buying it for the full swap then i was going to part out the car, well i called the DMV and the title was good so i got it regestered in my name clean title. all it needed was a Rad support Hood and Grille and both Headlamps and a FT bumper cover and AC cond and Radiator.

I had a few parts for this car anyways being ive worked on so many SR FWD cars and i have also owned many, so installed a SSAC header and new axels and a brand new shift knob and i also cleaned the inside up. i cleaned the FT end up and installed the used Hood and a G20 Metal Rad and Drove it to work ( bodyshop ) where a Bodyman Fixed the Front end for me for $100 and the LT Quarter panel and i use to be a painter so i was going to paint the car myself.. I had all the Glass Pulled and Detrimed the entire car, after repairing the panels from Door Dings and flaws i primered it useing Dupont primer.. I let it sit 2 weeks to let the primer cure then i blocksanded it with 180 and reprimed the car let it sit another 2 weeks then blocked it with 320 and gave it another few coats then i wetsanded the hell out of it with 600..

now its painted and back together its getting all new window moldings i also installed a set of 350x HIDs and a set of prothane motor mount and the energy suspention cotnrol arm bushings and a progress rear sway bar, new Brake pads ( autozone special ) and KYB GR2s and i also Re did the sound system.. I know theres not alot of power adders on it because im giving this car to my mom for mothers day, right now she has a 97 GXE and shes wanted the SE-R but could not afford it new so she got the GXE..

This is the only pictures i took of it after paint when i was putting the car back togther, i will post more later, im going to paint the brakes the same color as the car as well im painting the wheels either gun metal or bronze, the valve cover is painted the same color..



Updated Photos of the Car without and with the Glass installed, still waiting for the Headliner to be installed. also the Glass Guy Chiped the paint on the Hood so thats going threw the Booth again no big deal but ya it sucks.





Cleared Headlamps with HIDs installed from a 350z. the Inside of the Headlamps have Stress Cracks in it so ill be getting a new set of Headlamps

allthoe i might go over slightly depending on which tire i go with

also everything works great even the AC, Previous Owner just installed a new ACT clutch Setup. I might Drive it around for a few Days for the Fun of it then give the car to her..
