I know I'm scared ****less I am going to break something. The good thing about conventions is, there are plenty of sr20 guys to help you out and many of them have parts they can sell you if you do break something.

Spare fluids are a must, like oil, gear oil, coolant, power steering, ect.

I am thinking about trying to get a spare tranny before the convention. I need some spare t-bolt clamps too.

I am going to have my tool bags which have just about everything needed to do a motor swap in a driveway. I have a floorjack too.

that scenario rarely works out. I don't understand why no one wants to go unless they bring their own car.

I think best thing to do is meet at rest areas off 95. I think the best bet would be the rest area at mile marker 106 for the west palm people. I need to know what rest areas are near orlando (mile marker would be great). This way we can set up some kind of schedule.

The guys coming from tampa and orlando can come in I-4.
East Orlando and S.FL guys come in on I-95.
If you could make that happen, you would have one sweet FL caravan.
Only thing is ,I am not familiar with the rest areas around there.

I have an idea for a meeting spot. I posted up on the Grassroots Motorsports message board, and they are game if we want to use their office as a rendevous point on our way to the convention. They are located at 915 Ridgewood Ave. Holly Hill, FL 32117 . I have not checked yet, but supposedly they are easy to get to from I-95.

I figured that would be an interesting spot to meet up for some car enthusiasts that are going to a track day. Plus maybe they will take a picture and put us in the magazine!!!

The only thing they asked is for a head count of how many to expect. They are not planning any activities for us or anything, but I feel it is a gesture of appreciation from both parties involved.

So who would be interested?

By the way, I will be tracking both of my cars and I will have my whole garage packed in the back of my truck just like a race weekend.
