Youve been leaking for 5 months now? I got a mechanic when Im too lazy, too weak, or just dont know how to do stuff on my car if youre interested. He's pretty reliable. Just hard to get in touch with him at times because he has school and has many cars he works on. PM me if you want the info

not really i havent been looking for any shops for 5 months. i just let this oil leak be for 5 months, but its very annoying always check the level of my oil and refilling.

ive got a list of what it may be but it just hard because nissan desided to put all the easy and fun and unimportant stuff behind the motor.

- timing chain tensioner gasket
- oil filter bracket housing
- oil pressure switch
- upper oil pan silicone seal
- lower oil pan silicone seal

i have the car right now on ramps. i wiped down the back of the block (DET)
The oil pressure switch looks pretty dry so i might hold off on that for while because the puddle under my car its not really small but also not really big. i use car the basically every day but short distance and its loses half a qt of oil every 2 to 3 weeks. the upper oil pan has alittle oil behind the block but its very little and wouldnt cause the much. the lower oil pan the same very little but could not cause the size of my puddle. now above the passenger axle bracket it full of oil, so im hoping its not the oil filter bracket o rings, cause i dont have the time to pull axle, remove power steering pump, the get to the filter bracket. i have to remove my oil filter to see if that tensioner gasket is the cause.

I think i might take it to the nissan dealership but im unsure if they would deal with a det.

TO FIX THIS IS EASY

silicone
wire brush wheel with adapter for drill so you can clean the old silicone off the block an pans...
get tensioner gasket from 99 sentra se
and thats it.

make sure to let silicone sit for 45 mins to an hour then put oil in motor.

after all is said an done degrease the motor completely...

so if it leaks again itll be easier to find.

if it were to be the tensioner gasket you could feel the leak at the bottom of it... also if it were to leak it would do so all over the passenger axle.

yeah danny.

today in the after noon i put my car on ramps pop the hood i checked the tensior gasket. its dry all around. i wiped the motor as best as i could from behind. i then start the car and get under it quick and let it warm up to operating temps. the oil presure switch is dry with no oil around it. so X out tensior gasket, loose oil filter, oil pressurer switch. Now i let the car warm up to operating temp. observe were the heck is these drops coming from and i notice its coming from the buttom of my oil filter bracket housing. GREAT.! the one part i didnt want to think was leaking is leaking. So im guessing it has a bad oil rings on the housing or has a hair line crack. On the weekend im going to put it back up on ramp and study the housing see if i can get away from removing the power steering. it has 3bolts on the buttom portion on the housing and one on the top right portion.

the upper and lower pan have to be resealed but i may need someone to lower the top one.

thanks vex for the shop info i'll let you know.

and danny thanks for the quick info brotha.
