Have you gone to a SERCA meet. No.

FL people dont go to SERCA meets they said it themselves.

what is their worry if we dont go to their meet they admitted themselves so it will have no effect on their numbers.

When they have their meet you can go, no one is stopping you. We are just having at the same time. You will also find that you are in the minority with your thinking as far as FL members go.

ground to stand on for what? this is no battle between you and i. the purpose of this argument was to throw out ideas. not to battle. if you are here to battle everyone then you dont have the right idea. in order to seek the truth you need to see its alternatives first, then differentiate what you seek.

yes i would like to go to one of these events seeing that i am new to Nissans. i would also like to go to the meet in my backyard (with my car) as well. thats not hard to see.

satisfying a crowd of people is better than satisfying just a group. you have more of an enjoyment.

there is no need to thumb fight over a meet. its not that damn important. im just stating a difference, so that regardless of the past a bigger group will be able to attend. we can call it the east cost meet. and have people spread the word. on all the local forums in other states.

guy, i have been called you all yesterday.... i was waiting on you to call me back on sunday night you did say you would call me back.

I'd like to meet as many friends as I can and put faces to new ones... regardless of what state they're from. I'd just rather it not be a SERCA event as I outlined in the other thread.

I agree with Miko's point though... if we never attended their national convention in the first place, we won't be missed if we hold our own thing on the same day. I still think that really limits OUR choices though and would be better to do something regardless of what day theirs is on... but that's just me.

I have been sick up at the house with the flu, so I stayed uo here to not give everybi=ody the fku at Ians house.

Sunday night I could not sleep and I was sweating like a pig.
I have a soar throat and a bad headache right now.

Yesterday I did not do anything but just sleep all day.

I'm going to unlock this thread so we can continue to talk about the January 26th meet. Lets keep it civil please.

If you guys want to plan a big meet for later on, start up another thread about it.

sanku sanku.....yo.... message me... i have ameeting a FIU engineering campus tonight at 7 so you dont have to drive that far.

i honestly believe that in florida there are more se-r's, than anywhere else....modified also. i think just in the south florida area there are more than 30 se-r's that will attend.. those that are on the forum.. and those who are not. i think it would be a great turn out and good times. if florida peeps never go to the serca convention.. then what would it matter if we have it on the same day? we wont be missed? right? hell if i meet new friends or not.. doesnt matter to me. i personally just want all of us to be together in the same place at the same time with our cars.

im all for having our own convention. i think it would be great. florida meets are already pretty good, and if we step up this for a convention type meet... i think it would be a blast.

so when do we start planning this thing? the first annual florida se-r convention?
