Basic ECU requires you to use a chip burner. Real Time ECU has a USB cable to upload the new tune.

If your looking just getting a basic tune done and running, then you don't need a real time ECU. If you tune a ton, then real time will save you a lot of time.

BTW NEMU is a real time ECU.

Look through the 240sx forums, if you find it let me know!

GTir Bin should be similar to regular B13 bin, so try using B13 xdf. When I looked at it, all functions looked the same.

These appear to work in TunerPro. However, I only tested them with a B13 .bin file. Should be good to go though! Hope this helps!

Edit: These are KA24DE .xdf files.

I also have these .xdf files (see below). Not sure if they are on the forum already or not, or if they are better served here http://www.sr20-forum.com/rom-ecu-tuning-file-exchange/43138-calum-ecu-bins-tunes.html

Vadim,

Feel free to move these to a more appropriate place, if need be. I can also delete and re-post somewhere else or you can delete them if they are a re-post.

I also have a rather large source of: S13/14 stock .bin files and S13/14 turbo bins for various applications. Should I put them here as well http://www.sr20-forum.com/rom-ecu-tuning-file-exchange/43138-calum-ecu-bins-tunes.html? I don't want to post .bin files that I am not familiar with. I can send you the saved link if you want or I can just post them up or not at all, whatever is clever!

Nice!!! Thank you sir!

I'll upload the XDF's into the first post. As for bins, just post them up in the other thread

Thanks a lot for this write up! I was able to install the driver and tuner pro by following this instructions. There's a driver for Mac os x but is tuner pro compatible with mac?

what are the xdf files that are attached in the first post? Are those the ones that are not modified yet? Is the B14rt.xdf for an obd2?

I doubt Mark made/will make a Mac version of TunerPro, you'll have to find other software. It's an uphill battle to use a mac for car tuning.

They are the definition files for different bins. B14 is OBD2 yes.
