Way to much slack in the clutch??
Ok, I put a new clutch in (Exedy Racing - Stage 1 Organic Clutch Kit (06802)). I have a B13 trans and SR20VET. I hooked up the transmission and it appears there is more slack then normal? Could this be VET vs. DE spacing? Any help or ideas? Everything looks like it should.

Have you adjusted the clutch cable? ™

With it all the way tight there is still not enough tension to pull the pedal back up.

IF its just an adjustment problem due to old or stretched cable ,heres something I have done to get more adjustment with ZERO$ spent basically using a part I bet you have a spare of...LOL

I did a similar thing using the plastic ring under the shift boot. Dremel to fit, does not look modded at all.

Ugh, I know it's too late, but that Exedy Clutch isn't so great. I had the same one in a 97 SE-R DE w/ bolt ons.. maybe you will have better luck..

Well if it dont work out, I buy another one. I have used their OEM replacements before and never had issues.
