I greased the old cable and it didn't make any difference, and it was fine for all the years before that so I don't think the cable is the issue here... I feel like it has to be something with the throwout bearing... What kind of grease do you guys use on it?

theres not enough grease in the world to fix a stretched or frayed cable lol...

any how if you replaced the cable, the clutch, the lever ect then what else could be the problem unless something you replaced went bad again?

did the new clutch come with a new tob? did you replaced the clips when you replaced the tob? if them clips are broken (an they often are) your clutch will feel like shit and u could possibly fuck shit up pretty bad if it comes apart while the engines running lol

Yeah I got a new tob and clips all OEM parts from Greg, and yeah I know what happens when one of those clips pops off it's really annoying to drive like that because the engagement point moves around all the time.

I'm very surprised the new OEM cable didn't fix your issue.

Super late update... I found the problem. Not sure how I didn't notice it when I took my old TOB out but there was this wear on the clips, and it is there on the old one too. I'm not sure why I thought I didn't have to grease the clips as well, but I didn't even realize you do until seeing it in the FSM. My bad, I guess. I'm learning here, lol

I'm going to try to post a picture of a b14 grease points from the fam for you.i would Also check the clutch lever release spring.i had my b14 for 8 years so far.i personally changed it 5 different times.last time I replaced it drove 50 miles and rounded out the input shaft.i agree with filling the cable with grease it does make a difference.also greasing the rollers on your pedal and lever connection of cable.too much friction snaps them there.i also put 60 miles a day for years in straight stop n go traffic.used to get worse and noisy after the car would be running for a while for me.
