I didn't say misinformation I said misunderstood. The 6spd swap is very platform specific, g20 vs b13/14 the write ups on the forum are great for the how to. I'm not going to get into it here but the 6spd parts market has been cornered here on the forum and that's why I communicate off the forum with ppl on details. I don't want to post anything that might hurt one of the venders here.

Don't think you have to worry about that since their is probably 5 or 6 6spd swaps on the forum lol. It's just too expensive for people to bother even attempting to do it.

Yeah that's kind of my point, it costs 3k$ to swap in a 6spd due to the parts needed. When in truth it can be done for 1500-2000$ with almost the same parts. I don't sell parts so I'm in no way comp. for any vender but some of these prices are crazy, on the other hand fwd sr20 ppl are so cheap the big boy parts have to be over priced. Catch 22 so no point in bitching about it.

Ok. Example: mazworx motor mounts are 400$.... The rear mount from an auto p10 lines up with two of the bolt holes perfect you can drill a hole for the last bolt and for mount alignment, p10 auto mount 10$ at your local yard. Drivers side trans mount needs welding but you can have a 3-4in length of angle iron welded to the stock mount then drill the holes for front two mount points on the trans, again very cheap and works. I picked up a full 06 specv front clip from a junk yard for 550$ With every part needed including specv brakes, huge upgrade for our cars. The flywheel and clutch can be done for almost half cost if you get the parts from the manufacturer. I have been driving my b13 6spd for about 8 mounts now and love it but I paid full price for my parts because at the time no one had better info.

As far as the mazworx axle carrier bracket... I didnt have mine welded and been driving on it over a year and about 6k miles. I used the green threadlocker on it when I assembled it. Ive checked it twice over the past year and its not come loose.
