thats taken care of by grinding down the hump on the axle after the splines...basically right after the splines end it bulges up a bit. Just grind it down till it slides all the way against the back of the axle as it should.

Grind the high area behind the splines until it does.

Any of you guys using the tranny spacer on your 6-speed swap?...is the spacer actually needed?

Yes, Im using it on mine. No issues and id say its needed. Provides a hard surface instead of aluminum on aluminum. Plus keeps the spacing correct

Using two of them with my JWT flywheel/350z clutch.

Going to take a while - about 4-6 weeks.

Going on 31 days....

Some more people need to call DSS and request the shorter B15 axle shaft

OK Im waiting for someone thats running the B15 spindle setup on a B13 to take a measurement for me before I announce what I am thinking.... So i can confirm what Im thinking may be a better solution. If they dont mind having larger brakes but losing thickness on the rotor....

What do you need?

Measurement on the car, with the suspension at ride height.
Left side, from trans to hub distance. If your axle is installed you'll have to guess where the hub ends inside the spindle.

After the ordeal I went through... Id suggest only having the passenger side hub bored out for B15 splines and using a hybrid B15/13 axle on the driver side.
