Spec V torque steer - Nissan Forums: Nissan Forum

this has been an issue since the spec V was released. It's just the character of the HLSD. Not a lot you can do about it, other than get rid of the torque. I never thought the torque steer in the super sentra was too much, but sea level output should have jumped 15-20%. Now that, I can see some torque steer getting pretty silly!

...and I thank you for that! It is pretty ridiculous...but in a scary-fun way

the specV midshaft is 5/8 in. longer than the B13 midshaft..
I tried the specv driverside axle it didn't work on my b13.it is noticeable.I couldn't get it aligned properly.

In the very last pic you see the Mazworx driver side mount on the left, and a properly positioned mount that I fabbed to replace it on the right in red. I had to move the nut on the rear mount as well. You can see that up top.

Wait so the issue with Mazworx mount has all along been that it puts the transmission too far forward? Maybe that was done on purpose to better clear the subframe? I personally am using an OEM spec V mount so I made it work with where it looked like the trans sat the most naturally.

Just got back from another trip, 260 miles most at 75mph, got 29.4mpg. Lame...

We have not figured out the problem with the mount kit. The one thing that we are questioning is that the rear mount is controlling the movement of the driver side mount. We tested the new mount on a 500whp b14 with slicks and on the street with street tires, no issues whatsoever.

Dont you have the prototype mount? Everyone else still has the original.

We have 3 cars out here with the original and none of them have issues. We swapped out the original with the prototype in one of those 3 cars and had the same outcome.
