I'm using the maxima pedal and master cylinder I had to trim above the reservoir though so I can access it.

Just drove the car with 6 speed! It's definitely a different shifting experience. What does suck is how close this transmission sits to everything, using stock motor mount = engine tilt. Right now when I get on it in any gears vibrations increase majorly, guess I need to notch the subframe more.

So how are you liking it and what is your rpm difference at highway speeds.

You probably are. I definitely wasn't the first one to do it on the P11 but it sure as heck felt like it with lack of support or documentation

I'm not too impressed, but apparently I have an 02 trans both the seller and I were under the impression that it was an 04-05 though . Right now my RPM's are at 2750 at 70mph, where before it was closer to 3100. I just got back from a 120 mile trip (with a few miles city), and my MPG was actually down.

Before I would get closer to 32mpg on that stretch, today was 31mpg. Now I am thinking I'm running a little too much timing and that's why. Roller Rocker (with Lowport IM), seem to be efficient enough where you don't have to run nearly as much timing. On my last big trip I tried different timings started with 42*and tried reducing it. Got the best MPG at 33mpg with 30* timing. Your average lowport is at 36* even from factory in those parts of the map.

Conclusion, if your going to do this swap and use 02-03 gearstack and want better gas mileage don't waste your time and money. I will be trying to score a Maxima gear set though. 2300rpm at 70mph sounds pretty tempting. My car with a Disco has enough power to pass cars easily enough even starting at 2k rpm so I don't think it would be too low of an RPM that it would have a negative effect on MPG's.
