If you look closely on the bracket it says FRONT 1-1 near the bottom. That side faces the driver side of the tranny, and it bolts on from the same side.

No, you have it on backwards. Look at the first page of this how to thread and there is a pic i posted of the cable and bracket bolted. Kinda far away but the bracket faces the other way. With it the way you have it, it would be impossible to get the clips on for one and the cables wont line up with the shifter actuator on the trans.

As far as the way you have it bolted on, that is the correct side and the way its bolted, You just need to spin the bracket 180 and rebolt it up.

I'll take a look at the first page. But just by visualization, that looks right? The holes where the cables go threw line up with the shifter prongs perfectly.

You definitely have it on backwards. Mine is facing the other way and it aligns with the shifter perfectly. Yours will definitely be sitting crooked and too far toward the firewall. On mine there is lettering labeled "FRONT" and its facing toward the driver side which is the correct position. Just spin yours 180 and rebolt it on

Will a sr speedo sensor work in a qr25 trans? My trans didnt come with one and Im just wondering if Ill have to get a qr25 one. Also do all the other sensors connect to our stock harness or is everyone splicing over the qr25 trans sensor harnesses.

That answer is in the first page of the thread. Yes it will work but you will have to cut the mounting tab off the sensor so it can align with the speedo gear correctly and use a 10mm bolt with large washer to secure it.

Thats covered in the thread as well. lol. You have to rewire the reverse and neutral switch as well. They are different.
