The Ultimate 6 Speed Swap Thread...Parts/Instructions/Results!!

You think the Evo 8 MR shifter box would work? Holes seem to be in the same places. I got a 02 Spec V shifter box and I think the Evo one might be a lower profile.

The holes look too close to each other. You're gonna have fun trying to fasten it atleast. I wouldn't risk it, all the other shifter options can be had for really cheap.

That 2.2 shifter looks like the 2000-2002 Maxima shifter.

I wonder if they make a sequential shifter for the cable transmissions like this one:

Ikeya Formula - Sequential Shifter - Nengun Performance

I will post some pics of my shifter boot setup soon.

But my whole build has taken a halt Nissan informed me that the bolts were on backorder from Japan, estimated time to get them is 8 weeks. I made a WTB thread if someone could help me, I'd appreciate it enormously.

Can someone confirm to me that it's 12315-89F00 ? The part number for the bolts?

I wouldn't waste time with OEM stretch fit bolts. I switched to ARP 254-2801 a long time ago even before 6 speed, and they fit very closely on my JWT 250mm flywheel.

If you must stick with OEM I've found plenty of them online...

they broke the broach doing mine and Josh's hubs with no plans to do any more. To be fair, they did take FOREVER and we had to send them back as they didn't fit right the first time.

@zeneffect, changing the whole knuckle is the only option now?

Is there any other machinist that can do this?
