Added the gear ratio info for the maxima and spec boxes to clear up some misinformation in the ratios and what you could do to get the longest possible gears.

Also cleared up some info about syncro revisions which apparently took place in 03+ boxes.

Lastly, Vadim is going to take pics and measurements of his p12 oem flywheel and clutch setup to verify that a DOHC 240sx/Altima 225mm clutch setup can be used on that flywheel so that a readily available replacement is there.

I thought the 04-06 SpecV trans with Maxima final gear was longest setup possible? I will check out what you added Ashton.

We thought so too until this morning in the chat. I looked up the 02, 04 Sentra and 04 Maxima gear ratios and FG, and found out otherwise.

I was close, just has to be 2002/2003 maxima final drive and not any maxima final drive. Would love to build that!

Edited to avoid confusion. All information regarding gear ratios and FD should be correct now. If you see any other errors please feel free to provide proof and ill edit it.

Why would you not believe the FSM?

Wow, didnt see you posted the actual fsm, There is some piss poor information out there then. 3 threads I saw all stated 03 spec v box was the gear ratios I listed. Ugh. Stuff like that is frustrating when doing a thread like this.

yeah i spent a few hours looking at the FSM's for each year to put together that google excel sheet. with the calculated speeds.

Yeah and from the looks of it he says 02 then skips to 04

Anyways information is corrected. Only difference between the 03 and 04 box is 6th gear in the 04 box is slightly longer.
