This is the part of "the game" that sucks. Time to start over and come back harder..... This is a very cool car do not lose faith with it.

I totally agree with what Rob posted. Might be time fo an 88mm high comp motor. Take a break and come back if needed.

Just found your thread and have a few questions...

-Have your tried moving the MAF in your intake pipe further from the T/B?

-When replacing the clutch release bearing always replace the clips

-That mis-shift sucks balls (been there, done that) thou I got lucky and dropped another cam in and was good to go - hopefully you can get some of my karma on your next setup

-Is the red a stock color or a re-spray

Best of luck.

Ken its time for some 88mm slugs in that thing. Take a break and come back strong. Shit happens but we've all been through it. One of my favorite B14's bro.

Guys,
Thanks for the kind words... Going 2.1 (88mm) is an option I've been thinking about.. I would really like to bigger but I dont have the resources here on GUAM for that. If you guys have any parts for sale or willing to donate to a 2.1 build please PM me with info. I'm stepping away for a bit...

So you're saying you ran a 12.7 with a stock flywheel which is 18-22lbs?

I ran a 12.6 with a stock lightened flywheel.

Im not too sure what the final weight of the flywheel ended up being, but it had to be over 12lbs or so.. I finally torn down the motor and discovered fragments in the oil pickup. I awaiting a couple of quotes for misc. parts and hope to get my car running before the end of the year.
