This isnt going to be an easy task for them. Main reason is being if they are gonna make the fenders wider its gonna probably affect the trim piece that goes under the headlights. Its not going to be easy at all and is gonna take some design work to go into it.

Maybe doing something like this that replaced the grill and gave it a nice angle from the bumper. Again we would have to decide how the shape of that center grill piece is though. Would we want it for a set of Tsuru headlights or stock b13 headlights. I really dont mind which ones we chose. I have a set of tsurus on my car right now but can easily switch back to stock headlights. I plan on making one of the headlights an air intake opening anyways for the turbo. I think that would be the best idea and just elimiate the trim piece under the headlights all together. and just have the top part of the bumper angle up some from where it would sit on the bumper support up to where the trim peice goes against the headlights. Again would give it a bit more aerodynamics than the flat front end and grill. Having the grill slope just like that up to the hood would be fairly nice as well.

Again I think Exospeed can take these ideas and come up with some pics of how it would look first to get some ideas and chose a final product.

Where are they located and also who is the closest to their design place? I mean, they have to have a car to do all this work to and to see the concept, but also they have to have the slicks and such on the car so they can get a good idea on the fenders and such.

I think at this point getting a car there would be best. Also I think should make it to accept a 10" tire. Better to be over kill

TONIGHT (after 8PM), everyone who is intrested in the kit, even reading this thread, please send an e-mail to exospeed linking this thread and also stating that we are serious about getting a front end built for the B13 chassis to compete and will showcase their products just as good as the honda dragsers do. If the sales guy sees at least 10 e-mails in the morning from various people around the US from this one forum, they'll be more than willing to take our project more seriously, and will work with Dave SR20's goals.

IF ANYONE IS SENDING AN E-MAIL PLEASE USE THIS HEADING AS THE SUBJECT

NISSAN B13 SENTRA DRAG RACING FRONT END DEVLOPMENT INVESTOR

Please refer them to a link on this forum as well. Do not ask how much, this is Dave SR20's project, just simply send an e-miai stating that are an investor with Dave SR20 and are just writing to state that are supporting this project and that you will be purchasing once they are complete, but would like to start production ASAP.

Nicely done David.
I've left them a message via email and phone to call me back so we can verbally discuss this. Any updates I will let everyone know. I will also ask them to mock up a design so we can share with our fellow member that way we can gauge more interest.

Here is where we stand....

Hi Dave and Ashton,

We are interested in making it.* Would someone be able to supply us a car to use here in the Socal Area?

We do have a schedule of projects we're working on so we have to see when we can fit it in.

How many possible kits would be ordered?

Awesome, Like I said, everyone e-mail them just to let them know the inviduals that are involved. It'll get them to make them faster and be ready when we need them. Like I said after 8PM everyone send them so the guy reviewing the e-mails each day can see that we're serious that we need them made.

EVERYONE WHO VIEWS THIS THREAD E-MAIL SALES@EXOSPEED.COM

Hey fellas, Thought it would be easier to get input as a whole than back and forth emails regarding this kit.

1st of all, we have the capability to do this but it will depend on a few things.

1. Timing and scheduling: We have multiple projects and private label products we develop for ourselves and other companies. So its a matter of time on when we can work on it and timeframe we will need.

2. Price: Considering that this is not going to be a huge volume seller, it has to be worth it for us to make the product and price it accordingly for the time and amount of work that we do. If there are future sales from the mold, we can work with the pricing better. If there are no future sales that may come from this, we would have to store and sit on this mold for months to even years just to get a few other kits ordered from us. So we'd have to consider that factor.

Don't get me wrong guys, I would love to have us make something for you guys. But it all is just dependent on those factors. We're also a racing wheel manufacturer so we deal with new applications like this and we even have quite a few Sentra racing fans we've sold our wheels to in the past decade. We're also racers at heart so this is something we are considering to be able to have something for fellow racers.

To be honest though, we still are a business and we have to choose accordingly on what would be worth it for our time and what we would get out of it. So please respect our decision if it is or not possible us to make it for you guys.

Also, I'm not 100% familiar with the chassis so you would all have to work with me here on telling us the difference between the b13 and b14.
