Thread: 3pc front ends for B13 & B14

Great to hear straight from you guys i think i might be in for a set if we can get a few people and somewhat of a fair price sounds great though going to keep my eye on this

I believe dave sent you a picture of the b13. I believe that is what you would be working with. The b13 and b14 fronts are completely different. If you refer to my post on page two with the picture of one of your 3 piece front ends you can kind of get an idea of how we would want it to look. I think most would agree to get rid of the trim piece below the headlights and work the bumper to have more aerodynamics. Probably mold around stock headlights which im sure will be on the chassis provided to you if you do decide to go through with it. Im sure we would want the bumper itself to have a similar design to your civic bumper meaning the same shape opening and curves around the edges to the fenders. Again to keep the front more aerodynamic. Another would probably to have the solid front that can be easily cut out would probably be the best option for that. Gives the buyer a choice.

I can see where you stand as a company and I know you have to make money and make decisions accordingly to most benifit the company. Again your market right now for these is not like the Hondas, far from it. But if you can keep the price fairly inexpensive if we can come up with 5-8 people that want to buy it Im sure you will sell that many now and definitely more down the road. Right now we have no options and I know from the old forum and this forum this isnt the first time a 3 piece front has been discussed. I know there are more people than the ones that have posted in just this thread that would be interested. Its just a matter of time before they come up on it.

Again i dont think you will be disappointed if you decide to go through with it but again like you said, we know you are not expecting to sell 100 of these probably not even within a couple years time frame.

Greg V has accepted my request to lead this project. Since he’s local and can provide a Sentra to Exospeed he will be more of a asset than i would. Once everything is finalized, all payments will go through him. Please understand if the price changes, business is business but we will cross that road when that time comes.

Awesome, good to hear Greg is taking over this. Nothing against you Dave but being closer and being the one with the car to do the fitment on its just much easier. That and Greg rocks.

Just let me know when we need to send money to get this started if its something they are gonna go through with. Im in no rush as I have 9 months before I get back to the states anyways. So take the time to make sure its a nice looking front end that goes well with the car and does its purpose.

No offence taken bro. Greg is perfect for the Job because I know everyone trusts him and he's a straight shooter + we can also buy the wheels through him if he decides to be a dealer.
I spoke to them this morning and told them that Greg will be taking over and they were very receptive to the idea. Pending the technicality of the job once they get the car, they would be able to gauge a estimated time. The deposit will also depend on how many kits will be purchased.

Still sucks that b13's get all the love.

it's more than possible for the B14's as well. All we have to get is 8 or more for B14's and they will make those. again it's the majority rules right now and more ppl are interested for the B13's right now.
