I think i might try that reverse thing.

It sounds like it would work great.

I don't even try to lock the brakes up first. I manhandle that bish into reverse. Rev idler gears be damned!

No I usually leave the car in gear and downshift to the end of the runway while slowing down. Keeping rpms high maintains higher oil pressure and keeps the coolant flowing. You could just let it idle, but I prefer to keep her revved up a bit.

I want to see a video of your B13 doing that. Ill pay $5 toward your new tranny. 50 cents toward your hospital bills.

I've actually done it before in the snow. Always wanted to try it. Car felt so freakin' weird struggling for traction in reverse, while moving forward. A very odd experience.

I have a dirty little secret to tell you as well.... Before I launch at the track I like to use 10w30 motor oil to warm up my tires...... Makes for a nice burn outs..... OH YEA BABY!!!! Stopping sucks though your going to need a chute.

down shift and slowly apply brakes ...thats how i rool but im only trappin 88mph lol
