There is not much of a back and forth anymore as there is a huge PEANUT GALLERY with stupid shit interjected in between now.

If I bought something from the local grocery store and the item was expired, I'd feel like an idiot for not checking the date before i bought it. Yes, they should be scolded for not rotating the stock, but if thats how they conduct business i wont do business there anymore. OR perhaps they just made a mistake and would take the item back for a refund. But i'd still have to drive back to the store and not get compensated for my gas money back to the store. These things happen, you can just go flipping your top over it. He offered a refund, you'll have to swallow the "gas money". Why not try and find a cheaper method of shipping. I used grey hound to ship a bumper across the US and it cost me $45 bucks. I'm sure you have a port near you as well as one near him.....

yes, i would feel like an idiot too, especially if the item is physically in front of my face and i missed that it was expired, but thats not the case here, i didn't have the header in front of my face nor was the description on the ad and also any of those new pics he's presenting now, when i bought it.. if indeed i had, i would have ran away from the deal..

nobody seems to be able to answer how much money i would be losing if had to pay for it to get shipped back??

It was packaged poorly I agree 100% but its a one piece header for christ sake not glass. At the end of the day you get what you pay for some things I buy used but other things brand new thats just the way it is. I understand that you're upset but get over it already item was packaged poorly but at the same time trust no one when it comes to buying stuff on forums and craigslist etc if you can't see it in person ask for a thousand pictures before sending someone your hard earned money if they have a problem sending pics dont buy and keep it moving that simple.

that's what i was orginally going to do but then this ad poped up and i thought i was finally going to get descent header at a reasonable price..im by far not a cheapskate,if you knew who iam you would know... if i see a descent looking deal then the chances are that i will buy it to save some bucks, not meaning that im buying because im ok with it being damaged or having some type of flaws, just to save some bucks...

Well, I may not be so great at math but I'd guess about what you paid in shipping.

And you do know that it doesn't have to go in a box, right? Wrap the shit out of tha biatch with bubble-wrap, then tape the shit out of it, break down a box and wrap it thoroughly in cardboard, tape the shit out of it again and slap the shipping label on it. DONE.

I'll admit, going back and forth with Jordan made things worse as far as information being spread out. I really think that all future negative feedback posts must be posted with proof, or at least the seller or buyers proof. Buy we had to wait a day to get the pic bump, this would have been easier had this been posted first.

91sentragti-r, accept the original offer, get your refund and pay for the return shipping. Think of it as a learning experience.

To Storm and SER-Monkey, I got a really nice 20 year old car I want to sell to you. It's real cheap and does not reflex the true value of the car. Here's the one and only pic I will give you.

Looks great right!!

However, when you get it, you'll discover it will have these flaws I fail to disclosed or you fail to ask prior.

If you don't see there is something wrong with this type of transaction, you're shady.

Claimed shipping damage was present as pictured before it was shipped. Doesn't this mean that the semantics in reference to lack of packing materials is no longer an issue?
