un·re·al·is·tic adjective \ˌən-ˌrē-ə-ˈlis-tik\

: not able to see things as they really are

: based on what is wanted or hoped for rather than on what is possible or likely : not sensible and appropriate

: not showing people and things as they are in real life

Thing to note, in the pictures Jordan has (whether he sent them to the OP before the transaction) those little dents are present, so they werent created during shipping. Its just a question of whether or not he actually showed him those pictures before shipping I think.

Jordan if you can prove you showed those pictures to the OP before the transaction, I suggest you prove that.

again, he never sent any pictures to me.. if he would have sent me those pictures he presented now, I would have questioned it right there and then and I wouldn't have bought anything..

Yep, those dents are clearly present in the "before" pic. And again, if physical condition was so critical to the buyer he should have asked for pics and more detail before the purchase, not assume anything. Because of this (at least in my opinion) the header showing up "not to his liking" is not a legit complaint against the seller, he failed himself in that respect. The buyer admitting his responsibility, taking his lumps and paying return shipping for the refund that had been offered by the seller was/is completely reasonable and would have been the resolution. Unfortunately it looks as if that ship has sailed.

You obviously didn't go to school or don't know how to do your math..... I paid $478.25 Grand Total... Do The Math, Monkey....

I already did say I guess I should have asked for more details and not assume because of his good trader rating... you live and learn and now I know not to trust even the individual with 1 million positive trader rating..

it saddens me to know that this community has to be like this and everybody has to always watch over themselves every time because there is always somebody new trying to scam somebody..

I dont think thats a fair assessment, to say you were scammed.

If I bought something from the local grocery store and the item was expired, I'd feel like an idiot for not checking the date before i bought it. Yes, they should be scolded for not rotating the stock, but if thats how they conduct business i wont do business there anymore. OR perhaps they just made a mistake and would take the item back for a refund. But i'd still have to drive back to the store and not get compensated for my gas money back to the store. These things happen, you can just go flipping your top over it. He offered a refund, you'll have to swallow the "gas money". Why not try and find a cheaper method of shipping. I used grey hound to ship a bumper across the US and it cost me $45 bucks. I'm sure you have a port near you as well as one near him.....

I'm not sure from where you're referencing my math skills but I understand you're salty, that's a lot of money. But, you agreed on the purchase price and to $120 shipping, and if you've used PayPal before you should have been aware of the total you were going to pay with their fees. That and knowing what exactly you're buying is the buyers responsibility, no one else's.

Lack of a description is just that, no matter if the seller has a 10 million positive rating, ask questions and assume nothing, it's your money. After that fiasco you went through with the blown struts why weren't you more thorough this time, especially considering 3000 miles between you and a part you couldn't check out personally?

So back to the alleged shipping damage from the lack of packing material. The dents and scrapes you referenced appear in the pics before it was shipped, so what damage, if any, can be attributed to the lack of packing material?
