only thing i can honestly think of, because it happened to me when i purchased an item coming out of PR. is that it is sitting in customs for either A. form was/is not filled out correctly or B. marked as suspicious package...im sure the JWT cam gears i purchased YEARS ago are still there, instead of fighting over it i went through the process of issuing a refund but something didn't correctly happen.

MAN ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! You dont have to fill any paperwork to ship things from US to PR Puerto Rico if you are shipping vias USPS since PR its considered as a State for the USPS otherwise if you ship via Fedex or UPS yes but then where its the evidence that you shipped!!! Please Stop with the excuses!!
If I cancel the Claim will you refund today?? Because whet Cliff talked about the refund i had the claim already!! So there was no way you could refund on those days1
let me know and i will cancel it!! But I want to see the refund the minute after !!

so as to what i can view through paypal website, funds will be returned on the 15'th

and due to some events in the past few weeks, that is why i haven't been on here at all really

Peace

another one burned.

been waiting over 2 months, lack of communication, no offer for refund, no response. I've opened a dispute with paypal, which will escalate to a claim tonight as paypal has the ability to not only lock his paypal account, but his bank account as well or associated debit/credit cards. Clearly I have the patience to go through the paypal claims services for retribution.

zeneffect, can you give us more details? Did you buy through a thread on this forum? If so, can we have a link? What did you buy? When did you buy it? How much was the item? Can you describe the timeline a bit better for us?
Thanks!

gave him a few extra bucks to clean up the calipers and paint them black so that it would be ready to bolt on as soon a received. he claims the rotors are at some shop and were turned but he didn't pick them up yet.... that was about a month ago. if waiting a little over 2 months is "impatient" then I guess I am, but this is 2014 and the speed of commerce on internet doesn't travel that slow. I can get things from 3rd world countries faster.

*end rant*

timeline is.... money sent feb 16th, no resolution to this date whole lot of lack of communication in between except for what appears to be a bunch of bs.

@zeneffect it is probably too late (45 days seems to be the limit), but make sure if you can initiate a dispute with paypal that you do so immediately.
We will do our best to help you out and get this situation resolved.

I read chapnutz1's last response to Payu.

Shipping to and from Puerto Rico is considered a domestic shipment, does not pass through customs, and does not require any forms. only an address and the appropriate postage is required.

*edit*

paypal has been contacted in person and will be reviewing his dispute history to make a determination to put a freeze on his accounts. I have provided them this thread and all correspondence between him and myself.

next step will be to follow this up with legal action.

drafting a 30 day demand letter in accordance with MA law so I can pursue up to 3x the amount lost in court, including court fees, and travel. this is going to get real ugly and expensive really quick if we cant settle this in the forums. all I want is either my brakes, or my money back in full. nothing more or less.
